4th Edition of Law Day Celebration
We are thrilled to share the success of the 4th Edition of Law Day Celebration of SAILS, held on Tuesday, 26th November 2024, at 6:00 PM at the prestigious Hotel Ram International, Pondicherry.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Dilshad Shaik, M.L., M.B.A., Ph.D., Dean of the School of Law, Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, who delivered an insightful presentation on the topic
"Constitutional Democracy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."
The event witnessed the participation of around 100 students from various colleges across Pondicherry, making it a vibrant and engaging platform for intellectual exchange and discussion on the evolving dynamics of law and technology.

On 28th April 2023 the institute celebrated the decision of then supreme court rendered in the kesavananda Barati case 50 years ago by organizing the lecture on the basic structured doctrine laid down by the supreme court in the case and DR. J Cyril Mathias Vincent, President of the Institute while delivering the lecture highlighted the importance of the judgement and the manner in which it protected the fundamental rights of the citizens of India. About 170 students from different colleges in Pondicherry attended the program.

1st Edition Law Day Celebration of SAILS
The institute organized its 1st Law Day celebration through an online seminar on 26 November 2021 at 4 PM.
Prof. DR. Vikraman Nair, who started his career as an academician, par excellence, in DR. Ambedkar Government Law College Pondicherry, formerly Dean and HOD School of Indian Legal Taught Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam Kerala and Director School of Law Christ college Bangalore, delivered the lecture on constitutional values in the online seminar organized by the institute.
DR. J Cyril Mathias Vincent, the president of the institute welcomed him.
DR. S. Sreenivasan, principal, DR. Ambedkar Government Law College felicitated him.
About 100 students from different colleges in Pondicherry and Chennai participated in the seminar.
